In the heart of the Ozarks, where deep-rooted values of service and resilience run strong, a powerful investment in the future took center stage on June 24, 2024. With beaming smiles and outstretched arms, three remarkable women proudly held a symbol of hope—a $62,000 grant awarded to Leadership Springfield through the Musgrave Multi-Year Impact Grants. This generous support, funded by the Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation and managed through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, marked more than a financial milestone—it was a vote of confidence in the power of youth, education, and equity. The grant was designated for the Leadership Access Program, a forward-thinking initiative designed to unlock doors for underrepresented students in the Springfield area. Through mentorship, community engagement, and experiential learning, the program empowers young people—regardless of background—to find their voice and become agents of change. Standing proudly with the oversized check were changemakers from different generations, their united presence a testament to shared purpose.
